The Beloved Little Farmer Girl Is Richer Than a Nation

Ruan Mengmeng is only three and a half. Her grandmother called her a harbinger of bad luck, then set her adrift in the river to drown.

Luckily, she meets a wicked dragon, climbs out of the river, and finds herself in the arms of her mother and her powerful older brothers.

Bai Mudan: “As long as I have a bite to eat, I'll never let you go hungry!”

The hunter brothers: “We caught a wild boar and saved some for you.”

The traveling merchant: “Brushes are selling well at the market lately. Your mother knows how to make them, doesn't she?”

The carpenter: “It's all right if the house collapses. I'll fix it for you.”

The tailor: “Little Mengmeng is so pretty. I'll use your likeness as a pattern and make you a few outfits.”

Wow! Ruan Mengmeng thinks she's the happiest baby in the world!

The wicked dragon: “The most respected person in the village lives next door. Go cuddle up to him!”

Ruan Mengmeng: “Huh? That young uncle went to the Bai family to break off an engagement the other day...”

Lin Shang: “Shh, don't tell your mother!”
