This book is a memoir of the life of Jung, a master of analytical psychology. From his experiences as a teenager to what he saw and heard as an adult, from the symptoms he treated as a doctor to his own dreams and hallucinations, from his acquaintance with Freud to his separation, Jung made detailed records and analyzes of various other people's or his own spiritual activities, including his insights into life after death and a full analysis of his own thoughts, etc.
This book also includes letters written by Jung, his wife, Freud and other friends, and provides professional explanations of difficult technical terms in the book.
Strictly speaking, although this book is an autobiography, it is not autobiographical literature. Through this autobiography, Jung shared his lifelong research findings and created a great work that is unique in the world.
Perhaps this biography will be more difficult to understand than you imagine;
Perhaps, the book does not contain the prose-style memoir you want. However, if you read it patiently, you will surely resonate with the wonderful psychoanalysis and inner experience, and thus gain unexpected insights and enlightenment.
I hope that when you read this book, you can feel Jung's great thoughts in his fading memories.
Reader comments
Although this book is not as easy to read as a typical biography, it is definitely a work worth studying in depth. Jung recorded his spiritual activities in detail in the book and conducted professional analysis, giving us a deeper understanding of human psychology. As he said: "Those who look outside are dreaming, but those who look inward are awake." By reading this book, we can follow Jung's memories, feel his great thoughts, and gain unexpected enlightenment.
For ordinary people, the most important lesson in life is to learn to accept themselves. --Carl Jung
A master of psychology, the depth of insight and spiritual acceptance throughout his life is extremely high. As the master himself said, he felt the existence of another, older soul. He achieved unity with that information and summarized it in words for future generations to refer to. I would like to describe him as great, regardless of whether others understand it or not.
