I like his description of autumn scenery in "Autumn Thoughts on the Indian Ocean", which is very artistic. His sincerity towards love is also touching. However, I didn't like some of the overly idealistic content in the book. Overall, this is a book worth reading that will help you understand Xu Zhimo better.
