Five hundred years ago, the demons invaded. Humanity fought them for years, with neither side able to gain the upper hand. Then the unparalleled War God appeared out of nowhere and drove the demons to the far south of the continent. Just as victory seemed within reach, the War God died on the battlefield for reasons unknown. Five hundred years later, the demons are stirring again. In the southernmost reaches, a young boy inherits the will of Killing Wrath and is sealed away in a temple, where he becomes a monk. Is he the War God's reincarnation, or the return of the Demon King?
