The novels take cruel youth and warm life experience as the theme - the characters in the novels are both evil and good, with different styles. There are many wonderful sentences and the ending is thought-provoking. Bi Feiyu's works have been translated into many languages and published abroad. "The Breastfeeding Woman" won the first Lu Xun Literature Award for short story.
