National Order

The themes of this collection are divided into two parts, one is "Story of Yancun" which describes rural life, and the other is novellas such as "National Order" and "White Zebra" which describe working life. Wang Shiyue's rural novels inherited the tradition of lyrical novels from Shen Congwen and Wang Zengqi. This group of migrant workers series novels is opposite to the story of Yancun. The author intends to reveal a reality of existence and tell readers how we are living. With the attitude of literary salvation and superb language skills, the author adheres to a realistic examination attitude, melts himself into a particle of dust, listens to the heartbeat of the people at the bottom, and fulfills the mission of a peasant writer with conscience and responsibility.
