Yellowed paper and scorched ink hold no fear,
My thoughts dance as the words flow freely.
Though no one seeks out this old pen,
Some discerning soul will cherish its lonely bloom.
Not many people will read this book. It’s not because I think the writing is bad, but because it’s too niche. In this age of fast-food reading, a book like mine is bound to be hard to get into. I won’t say that missing a single word will make the story impossible to follow, but skip a few lines and you’re sure to miss a lot. What’s more, there are many parts that only make sense after careful thought, which will test readers’ patience even further. Of course, I understand. After all, you’re reading a novel, not studying scripture.
This story needs to be read with care. If you just skim it, the plot will feel jumpy, and some parts may even be hard to understand. A novel like this can be a headache not only for readers, but even for me. So I’ve tried to flesh out the story as much as possible and add plenty of fun scenes to ease the awkwardness.
