Good Ancient-Era Romance
Recommend some good historical romance novels! If any of you lovely ladies have read some, let's discuss them. And please share any recommendations you have!
High-Quality Stories With Exceptional Writing
Any gender is fine, as long as the writing is good.
Ancient Romance Novels That Leave You Stunned to the Core
No comedy, no revenge against scumbags, and no female or male protagonist with serious issues. They shouldn’t go around causing trouble, and the plot should be exciting.
Please Recommend Literary Works That Can Improve My Writing!!!
Books with Lyrical Prose and a Rich Foundation in Poetry
Beautiful writing that captivates you at a glance is fine, as is something you can savor slowly and chew through piece by piece. I just haven’t found anything like that yet.
Looking for Good Historical Romance Recommendations
The female lead should be the legitimate daughter of a marquis's household.
Looking for Good Historical Romance Novels
Looking for a purely historical romance novel. The male lead comes from a prominent clan and is ambitious, while the female lead is his clever, capable principal wife. I want a story about household intrigue, with the two of them managing the family together.
Truly Stunning Historical Romance
Please avoid overly cliché tropes.

A Scheming Female Lead Who Wants to Marry Up, Like the Story My Name Is Mary Fang
Period Tragedies Like Eastern Palace
Guys, I once read a short historical romance tragedy with a plot a lot like Eastern Palace. The title felt a bit like Palace Wall Willow. Does anyone know what it might be? 😭
Looking for Novels With Better Writing
I can't get through more than a few chapters of most novels. They make me cringe so hard. Please recommend some with smoother writing.
Pure Historical Romance
I'm out of books to read.
Is It Really This Hard to Find a Novel Without Transmigration or Rebirth These Days?
Please, everyone, recommend me something good. I want a novel with no transmigration into a book, no transmigration, and no rebirth. I hope it's completed. Please!
Books That Perfectly Showcase the Splendor of Ancient China
The Nine Arts of a Gentleman: playing the zither, playing chess, copying calligraphy, painting, composing poetry, drinking wine, tending flowers, appreciating tea, and burning incense. The Eight Arts of a Lady: music, chess, calligraphy, painting, poetry, wine, flowers, and tea. I don’t mind whether there’s romance. Transmigration or transmigrating into a book is fine too. I’m looking for that rich, old-fashioned atmosphere...
Any Palace-Intrigue Novels Where the Male Lead Gradually Falls for the Female Lead, Who Is Highly Intelligent?
No love-brained protagonists, and it must be complete!
The Princess Weiyoung: Let Li Changle and Chi Yunnan End Up Together
I Really Want to Read True Palace-Intrigue Novels
I hope the female lead is smart and clear-headed. If it's a sweet HE romance, I'd prefer the male lead not to have children, please. For a no-CP story about rising to power, I don't mind.
Any Novels With a Clever Female Lead Who Neither Transmigrates nor Is Reborn?
Any Scheming, Cunning Novels About Family, Palace, and International Power Struggles?
Looking for Highly Rated Palace-Intrigue Novels With Smart, Clear-Headed Leads!!
Looking for books similar to "After Transmigrating, the Divine Doctor’s Wife Saved a Household of Loyal Martyrs (The Peerless Doctor)".
Beautiful Writing, High Quality, and Thought-Provoking Content
Something like Zhang Jiajia's A Little Shop by the Clouds.

The writing is quite good and there is a lot of ancient knowledge. It can be seen that the author has read a lot and has covered a wide range of topics, which is different from ordinary ancient novels.
I must give five stars. Although it is an uncle-nephew sadomasochism, it is very interesting. The male protagonist is a real man. He will do anything for love, and he will not love his country but his beauty. At first, the female protagonist pursues her uncle, and then the male protagonist perseveres. Blood relationship cannot prevent the two from falling in love. Fortunately, the uncle is adopted, and finally the lovers finally get married.
The writing style is quite good. The author must have read a lot of Zhang Ailing's works and has Zhang Ailing's writing style. The plot is touching and the structure is rigorous, making it a masterpiece.
The bloody sadomasochism between the uncle and the niece, the heroine's various affairs, the unmarried pregnancy, the stillbirth suspected to be the hero's fault, and the hanging to seek death. I was really angry when I saw this. She kept saying that she loved the hero, but she didn't trust everything and had various misunderstandings. The two of them almost spent their time in misunderstandings and quarrels. But aside from the storyline, what kept me going until the ending was the author's writing ability. The characters had many psychological activities, which were vivid and vivid, and his language skills were profound. Moreover, the author of this kind of ancient style of writing is really easy to pick up, as if she herself has traveled from the Tang Dynasty. She depicts various scenery and equipment in a profound way. Her knowledge is so broad that I have to admire it! In short, don't mind the discomfort caused by the storyline. This novel is a good article. I still give it five stars and recommend it!!
The language is simple and easy to understand, and the storyline is fascinating and amazing. It is really a good book that you will never tire of reading.
It is a rare good book with beautiful writing and touching plot. It is a heart-wrenching novel. Just wait and see how it unfolds on the screen! Five-star recommendation!
A simple story, the author wrote it with ups and downs, and the psychological description is meticulous and touching. Just looking back, this story is too ordinary and it is all supported by the author's writing.
It's been a long time since I've read such an excellent work. The writing is outstanding, and the description of the characters is very delicate, both in terms of appearance and thoughts. It's really incomparable to those shoddy novels. Every chapter is worth savoring.
There are no huge waves, just like the occasional ripples in gurgling water. I like such elegant ancient love stories. After reading the beginning, I guessed that at the end, my uncle must not have been born to my grandmother, so I did not mess up the ethical principles. Nuan is happy. She has made friends with Helan, a good "sister" who has a true nature and helps her to sort out her beauty and sincerity and protects her in every way. The infatuated and standard tolerance of Lan Sheng's male lead is also heartbreaking. Thanks to the author for giving a happy ending, allowing Rong Yu to abandon his official position and escape to the frontier for the sake of Nuan. Everyone, feel free and bold to chase after us!
This book is so beautiful. The author's writing is delicate and emotional, the story line is compact and not procrastinating, the characters are clear, and the language is gentle and smooth. It is really a good book. A few more chapters will make it even more perfect!
