Before the wedding. The woman says in a soft, fragile voice, “A Shuo, he doesn't believe me.” The man replies domineeringly, “I'll hand him over to you. Do whatever you want with him!” The person being complained about: “My lord, could you spare a thought for me? I've served you for so many years...”
The woman says pitifully, “Oh no, I lost again. I'm nearly out of money.” The man tosses his sword onto the table. “Don't worry. We'll win back ten times what you lost!” The card players stare at the gleaming sword on the table. “Are we supposed to win? How could we dare?”
After the wedding. The woman declares boldly, “From now on, I'm in charge of this manor.” The man backs her up. “What are you standing around for? Didn't you hear what the princess said?” The household staff: “So who's actually in charge here?”
The woman fumes, “My lord, I heard you're taking a concubine?” He swears solemnly, “No, no, absolutely not. That bastard made up the rumor!” The obedient subordinate: “My lord, weren't you the one who told us to spread that rumor?”
See what happens when our pampered princess crosses paths with a charming, irresistible prince. Will sparks fly, or will it all end in disaster...?
