A case involving a campus belle who suddenly drops dead onstage leads to one bizarre crime after another. Before the incident, the belle, police academy genius Li Yisen, and Li Yisen’s childhood sweetheart Zeng Baobei were widely known on campus as a love triangle. After the belle’s death, the two became the “prime suspects” in everyone’s eyes. To clear their names and prove their innocence, the childhood friends reluctantly join the investigation and give it everything they have to uncover the truth... only to discover that an endless abyss lies behind it. As one bizarre case after another unfolds, Li Yisen holds his childhood sweetheart’s hand even tighter. Murder and bloodshed can never make up for a warped, twisted mind. Only steadfast love and a smile that always faces the sun can heal the darkness in human nature.
