If someone can be lucky enough to get killed by a falling gold bar, can anything be even “luckier” than that? The answer is yes. Fu Yin's life perfectly illustrates that things don't just go wrong: they can always get worse.
“Princess Fu Yin is here! Run!” Fu Yin has grown used to hearing that.
“Princess Fu Yin's consort is here! Go after him!” That, Fu Yin cannot abide. She cannot see how her consort is as beautiful as a celestial being.
“Princess Fu Yin and her consort are here together. What a tragedy...” Fu Yin turns to look at the consort beside her.
“Consort, they say you're a tragedy...”
“Nonsense. They only know half the story...”
Fu Yin's spirits begin to lift at his words...
“Tragedy doesn't come close to describing even one ten-thousandth of how I feel right now...”
It's still a good short story, and the main storyline is pretty good. The heroine traveled through ancient times to become a princess, and ended up marrying the consort who was a proton. Finally, she and the consort fell in love with each other through their children. I originally thought it was read by the heroine, but it's not like those side husbands are all fake.
