The Ten Tiger Regiments

This book mainly chronicles the Red Army regiments: the 334th Regiment (the Pingjiang Uprising Regiment), the 136th Regiment (the Model 5th Red Regiment), the 109th Regiment (the Red Army Regiment), the 343rd Regiment (the Red Army Regiment), the 347th Regiment (the Red Army Regiment), the 235th Regiment (the Jinan 1st Regiment), the 367th Regiment (the Tashan Heroes Regiment), the 271st Regiment (the Jinan 2nd Regiment), the 241st Regiment (the Weixian Regiment), and the 1st Cavalry Regiment. Throughout the history of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, thousands of regiments have held official designations, along with several units equivalent in size to a regiment. Among so many regiments, writing about only ten is like describing just a few towering trees in a vast forest.
