Form Comes, Intent Goes

What is “form”? It is resemblance in both shape and spirit, with body and soul in harmony. The spirit may depart while the form remains; all things ultimately spring from the heart.

What is “intent”? It takes the heart as its foundation, flows through the breath, and emerges through force, carried through to the end by a single purpose.

What is “Form and Intent”? The heart guides the form, and intent carries it through. Breath and force shift in countless ways, following like a shadow.

Ye Ziqian was destined to be bound to Form and Intent. With his own hard-won skill and unyielding backbone, he was destined to roam the entire martial world. “Why fear death? I only ask for one fight.” Those were his bold words.
