This book truly shows the life of Chinese immigrants in the United States. Each story was representative and made me empathize with their experiences. I especially love the characters in the book who are gritty and striving to achieve their dreams. For example, there is a protagonist in the story who persists in pursuing his American dream even in the face of difficulties and setbacks. I admire this spirit very much. Moreover, the book also mentioned changes in immigration policy, which gave me a deeper understanding of this topic. All in all, this is a book well worth reading.
