A full-length horror novel by "King of Mysteries" Zijin Chen. It was serialized on Tianya under the title Zhejiang University Night Fright and became a huge hit with readers. One of the rare horror novels that will make you feel a chill run down your spine.
Some of the introductions to Feng Shui and supernatural aspects in the book are very realistic. In addition, the story is set in Zhejiang University, so it does not create a very realistic sense of separation. However, there are many holes dug in the front, and they seem to be filled in in a hurry. Still worth reading though. Recommend.
Modern people love to watch short videos, which are effortless and can bring you happiness in just a few minutes. Those who read this novel carefully and love thinking may have guessed the answer early, and some may think "Oh~ so that's it" at the end. Some people complain about it without even finishing it, and watch short videos if they don't have the patience to do so. (However, I remembered that this was the case when I watched "The Three-Body Problem" before. I felt that my brain was not good enough, so I went directly to the short video to watch the quick explanation of "The Three-Body Problem".) Speaking of which, the first dozens of chapters of this book have always hinted at Zhang Chao's situation (the attitude of the people around him towards Zhang Chao, and every word he said). If your imagination is good, you can guess most of it. Spoilers are unethical, so I'll stop at that.
When the zombies came out at the end, I knew that this book should have another ending, because it is impossible to pass the publication review if there are ghosts, but the final ending still felt a bit rushed. But relatively speaking, this kind of ghost story needs to be normalized. It is no longer easy to do this.
A good article, it made me calm down and make a cup of old tea, and read slowly after I haven't calmed down to read a novel for a long time.
I came to read this after reading The Author's Hidden Corner and The Long Night.
I've read about half of it so far and I think it's pretty good, but it depends on how the author comes back to these paranormal phenomena later on. After all, after the founding of the People's Republic of China, people were not allowed to become spirits, so the monsters and ghosts will naturally disappear.
\About being afraid of people/Is it a human or a ghost/Look below for "Wonderful and Horrifying O"
I just want to know if there really was a jumping incident at Zhejiang University.
It's okay, the plot is okay, I think the pace is a bit slow and the ending is a bit open-ended.
The feeling of unfinished meaning, the alternation of reality and illusion, makes people travel between the real and the fake.
