The legitimate daughter of the Marquis's household returns home transformed, armed with a wealth of medical knowledge. She takes down the scheming white lotus, puts her stepmother in her place, and tears into her scumbag father, determined to turn the entire household upside down. Then she remembers that she has a tricky marriage to deal with. Everyone in the capital knows that the young general of the General's Manor is reputed to bring death to his wives. Mu Jinshu insists she's still young and can't let her bright future be ruined by this marriage. She tries everything, from making herself ugly to pretending to be ill, all to get a divorce and enjoy a peaceful life of her own. Perhaps she can even find love again. On the day she makes her escape, a certain someone finally loses patience. “My lady, the imperial edict has been issued, and we are already married. Where do you think you're going?”
After reading a few chapters, I feel like it's another girl whose mother was killed. After reading so many books, as long as the heroine's mother is not around, she is killed. The authors don't want others to die but they can't die well. I will give negative reviews when I encounter this.
The ending is too rushed
The writing is too shallow, I don't like it
Very beautiful😊
