The Buddha said, “Lay down the butcher’s knife and become a Buddha here and now.”
The immortals said, “You are but a mortal. How dare you act so arrogantly?”
The Daoist said, “You demons and heretics, surrender at once!”
Chen Jiang scoffed. “Get lost!”
This is the story of a peerlessly powerful prodigy. Chen Jiang rises alone from the lowliest of beginnings, battles strange beasts, eliminates evil demons, ascends to the heavenly gates, and seeks the path to immortality. He suppresses the ages and becomes an Immortal Venerable.
