After the ill-fated princess Zhaoye sacrifices her life to Heaven, she is reborn as a tiny streamer in a live room for doomed loners. Every viewer knows this streamer is full of energy and confidence, flashing the sweetest smile while putting on the worst performance imaginable.
“Streamer Zhao has killed someone!” The person in question calmly replies, “I’m no saint. One death is only the beginning.”
So this streamer is the villain? The viewers curse her out and leave, swearing they’ll never come back, until Zhaoye meets Lord Cheng.
On a dark, windy night, Lord Cheng drives an old lady to her death in the back courtyard. A concubine sent by the emperor cooks one of his rabbits, so he demands a life for a life. Bandits charge him in the wilderness with their blades drawn, and Lord Cheng merely sweeps his wide sleeve: their heads explode.
Zhaoye counts on her fingers and discovers that Lord Cheng is actually a demon king.
Zhaoye: Sorry to bother you. You’re the real villain.
A heroine who always thinks she’s the villain × a male lead who acts like the real villain

[A few things to know before reading]
1. The historical setting in the live room’s first timeline is an alternate ancient dynasty. This is not a serious political intrigue novel: the story focuses mainly on romance, with the heroine’s career as a secondary plot.
2. The heroine disguises herself as a man early in the story.
3. Neither lead is a good person. The basic world runs on the law of the jungle, and there is no absolute good or evil. They put their beloved above all else, so don’t read if that bothers you.
4. Both leads have ulterior motives when they first approach each other, so proceed with caution if that’s not your thing.
5. A wickedly playful, shamelessly lying, hopelessly inept, attention-seeking smiling young woman with a deadly reputation × a gloomy demon king who just watches you show off and is always sleepy = why bother with political schemes when we’re strong enough to just kill them?
This is very beautiful, but why didn't I see a few people? Commentary
It's very interesting, the plot is tight, and the characters are well drawn. The reason I read this book is because of this author. I really like her writing. The male and female protagonists are both straight-forward and not boring at all. When will there be a sequel? 🥺 🥺 🥺 🥺 🥺 🥺 The author remembers to update!!!!! 😢
This book is really good, but it's a pity that it ends so suddenly. "Little evil star, I found you" They are unfortunate, but lucky. The heroine Zhaoye and the hero Cheng Xingjin both had very miserable life experiences. They are each other's salvation and the light in each other's eyes. Perhaps they have transcended love for a long time, because the word love does not seem to be able to carry the heavy love between them.
It's quite a pity when I see the end. Zhaoye hasn't married the big devil yet, but I can only accompany you here to say goodbye. ☺️
It feels so sudden and it's over 😂, it's a bit short, so I can continue writing a sequel, or start another one.
Both of the author's books are good to read, but this one has no extras!!!
It was really enjoyable to watch, but it's a pity that there are no extras 😢 😢, but the plot is not cliché at all, it's very interesting, and I highly recommend it!
Can you write some extras next time~
It was just so sudden, it was gone all of a sudden
It would be better if it were longer
