I Ate a Dragon

[Modern urban fantasy + April contest entry] Bai Shu, the ancestor of the Dragon Clan, has existed since ancient times. After being sealed for hundreds of thousands of years, he finally burst out of the lake. He planned to feast on humans, demons, and monsters across the world, but as soon as he emerged, he ran into a “human” after the dragon essence inside him. The Demon Emperor, who possesses the purest cultivation in the world, is being hunted by every realm. Gravely wounded and stripped of most of his power, he can recover only by consuming the dragon essence of Bai Shu, the ancient divine dragon, or so the legend goes. When the ancestor of the Dragon Clan meets the ruler of the Demon Realm… Bai Shu: “Is Cang Ming, the Demon Ancestor, dead yet?” Demon Emperor: “…” Bai Shu: “That old geezer would have to call me something a lot nicer if he saw me. And you? You little beast.” Demon Emperor: “…” Bai Shu: “Little beast, why aren’t you saying… Mm!” No need for more words. First, let’s “eat” to show our respect!
