Pounce, Little Fox Immortal!

Sang Zhi is a nine-tailed fox who has cultivated for five hundred years, and the only daughter of Sang Yu, the Celestial Fox Emperor of Qingqiu. The little princess is hopelessly lazy and interested only in catching chickens. She has lived a carefree life until she accidentally offends Lord Junshu, the Phoenix Sovereign, who tricks her into descending to the mortal realm to serve as a local earth god. Know what an earth god does? Protects the locals? Keeps homes safe from evil spirits? Wrong, wrong, wrong! An earth god is the one who meddles in everyone’s business, does the most exhausting grunt work, has the lowest immortal rank, and is forever cleaning up after mortals like an overworked nanny: setting people up, breaking up fights, helping the poor, and serving as the village committee’s busybody! Furious when she learns the truth, the little fox packs her bags and goes to confront the aloof Phoenix. But she is no match for him, and he seals her away in the town of Pingle. And so begins her hilariously chaotic life as a “god”…
