Great Tang’s Return to Allegiance

In the second year of the Dazhong era, 848 AD, Zhang Gongyi Chao led an uprising, driving out the Tubo forces that had occupied the Hexi region of the Great Tang for over a century. He reclaimed eleven prefectures in succession and brought them back under Tang rule. This became known as the Guiyi Army.

Fifty years later, the Great Tang, ravaged by eunuchs, warlords, Huang Chao, and other calamities, was on its last legs. The Guiyi Army was besieged on all sides, with only three prefectures left.

The empire was on the brink of collapse, and the chaos of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms was about to begin. With internal strife and external threats closing in, Li Hongyi, who had transmigrated into this age, stood up to preserve his family line and secure the future of his people!

Wherever the sun and moon shine, wherever rivers flow, all belong to the Great Tang!
