Gu Han is the warden of the eighteenth level of hell. After receiving help from the former owner of Naihe Internet Cafe, he secretly released the girl the old owner loved and was punished by King Yama, forcing him to leave the eighteenth level of hell. The former owner left the Bridge of Helplessness to join the girl he loved in the human world. He therefore entrusted Naihe Internet Cafe to Gu Han, telling him not to provoke the ghosts from the Bridge of Helplessness or attack them without good reason. He should try to understand them, sense their emotions, and become their friend. Gu Han had undergone hellish training ever since birth. He did not understand what emotions meant or what the former owner was trying to tell him, but he agreed anyway.
