This book is a record of Yu Qiuyu's investigation of Western civilization. "Walkers Without Borders" is divided into four volumes: Southern Europe, Central Europe, Western Europe, and Northern Europe, and contains 80 essays. The whole book is better than Yu Qiuyu's previous works in terms of completeness and profundity of thinking, tension and freedom of style. In the book, he lamented: "European civilization is indeed excellent and mature, and can integrate classical tradition and modern civilization, personal freedom and social ethics. I am even more envious of the smiling eyes in the street cafes. With just a flash, I feel that the eyes are long and the mountains and rivers are safe. However, in these years, I have become autistic due to excessive complacency and self-enjoyment, and I have many time and space illusions about the world and myself."
