Break Out of the Encirclement

This work by Liu Jianwei describes a large-scale undirected exercise simulating a local war under high-tech conditions. A well-equipped, fully-equipped A division that represents the main body of the current Chinese military suffered repeated defeats in tactical confrontations with a B division equipped with high-tech technology. After deep introspection and difficult restructuring, it finally broke through the encirclement and won victory. This profoundly demonstrated the severe survival challenges faced by the Chinese military in the world's military, political, and economic landscape at the end of the twentieth century. Won the first and second prize of the National Television News Special Award. It was turned into a TV series and was well received.
