This book is very realistic and the characters are vividly depicted. The one that impressed me the most was Manli. Her experiences in the book are really very sympathetic. The author Liu Jianwei's writing style is very delicate, and the plot has ups and downs, making people have the urge to read it in one breath. However, I kind of hate that one-eyed man, what he does makes people angry. Overall, this is a book well worth reading.
