The writing style of this book is very unique, and it feels very friendly, like chatting with a friend. Teacher Zhang Ming's writing style is also very humorous, and he writes historical figures vividly. Moreover, his evaluation of historical figures was very objective, allowing me to see the unknown side of these figures. This reminds me of "Those Things in the Ming Dynasty", which also tells history in a relaxed and humorous way. However, "The Bits and Pieces of Modern History" focuses more on the characterization of characters. In short, this is a very interesting history book, recommended to friends who like history.
This book is well written. If it had been published a few years earlier, the Luoyang paper would have been more expensive!
