The Spirit Realm

His father was a heaven-blessed prodigy of a supreme power in the Spirit Realm, but for some reason was cast down into the mortal world, stripped of his cultivation and reduced to a cripple. His mother was the Holy Maiden of the Ice Spirit Palace, another supreme power, and was destined to marry the top genius of the Ascending Dragon Pavilion. By chance, Lu Jun obtains the remains of a supreme expert from the Spirit Realm and merges them with his own body, inheriting the expert's legacy. He battles across the Eight Wastelands and shakes the Nine Heavens, storming the supreme powers to avenge his father, restore his mother's memories, and slay his enemies, ultimately mastering life and death in the Spirit Realm.
