This book is very interesting! Professor Zhang Ming brought the warlords and politicians of the Beiyang period to life. I especially hate those characters who do anything for their own interests. But I also like some ideal and ambitious characters who work hard for the future of their country and nation. Moreover, this book also gave me a deeper understanding of the May Fourth Movement. It turns out that history is so complicated and interesting!
