The Little Koi of the General's Family

She was a genius doctor of traditional Chinese medicine in the twenty-first century. After transmigrating, she finds herself a child bride in a farming family:

A ramshackle house and a broken bed, no food and grinding poverty, plus a whole cartload of terrible relatives!

Everyone calls the Lin family’s daughter-in-law a walking disaster, but Lin Jinzhi seems blessed with incredible luck. A worthless wild herb she picks turns out to be a precious medicinal plant. She opens a clinic and becomes famous throughout the land. The mountain man she takes in turns out to be a general, and the poor boy she saves is the seventh prince of the Ming Dynasty... She outsmarts her terrible relatives and heals the sick. Whether saving someone or killing them, she calls the shots!

Then someone lounges on the bed and says, “Wifey, you save people and I’ll feed them their medicine. You kill people and I’ll pass you the knife. I only ask that the bringer of good fortune bestow a little of her luck on me.”

Lin Jinzhi is at a loss for words. She thought she’d adopted a loyal puppy, but who knew he’d turn out to be a great big wolf? Ever since, she’s been left rubbing her aching back every day!
