This novel brings together the myths of Pangu creating the world, Nuwa mending the sky, Kuafu chasing the sun, Hou Yi shooting down nine suns, Gonggong striking the pillar, Xing Tian dancing with his shield and axe, and Chiyou's Banner. It is a mythological epic, with dazzling and fantastical tales, twists and turns, and a deeply moving conclusion!
In ancient times, the world was divided among eighty-one primitive tribes. The Shennong tribe, led by Yan Emperor, was the most powerful, and all the other tribes obeyed him and paid tribute. But as Yan Emperor grew old, the Shennong tribe gradually declined, while the other tribes grew stronger and showed him less and less respect. As they pursued their own interests, conflicts among them multiplied and their differences deepened. The world fell into chaos, war raged without end, and the common people suffered terribly.
Seeing this, Nuwa sent Xuanyuan to be born into the Youxiong tribe so that he could unite the world and put an end to the fighting. But although humanity had been created by Nuwa, it had multiplied over many years and developed its own natural order. In the midst of this, a man named Chiyou was born, and he rose up against Nuwa's interference.
As Xuanyuan and Chiyou grew, the world gradually became caught up in a war centered on the two of them. They endured countless trials and battles, and their conflict gradually grew into a war between the demon realm and the divine realm.
At last, after Chiyou was soundly defeated on the plains of Zhuolu, he took his own life. From the place where his head was severed, blood gushed forth and transformed into a stream of purple and crimson light that shot into the clouds. From then on, a comet shaped like a battle standard often streaked across the sky screen. Later generations called it Chiyou's Banner.
Xuanyuan became emperor and was given the title Yellow Emperor.
All the tribes of the world submitted to Xuanyuan, and their descendants began calling themselves the descendants of Yan and Huang. But some of Chiyou's people refused to yield, even unto death. They migrated south in droves, continued to stand against Xuanyuan, and passed down their lineage from generation to generation, forever remembering Chiyou as their ancestor. These people later came to be known as the Miao.
Very nice, come on
Very well written, I support it
Treat history with dialectical materialism
So beautiful, so exciting
Nice looking and interesting This is my first time reading a novel, and I found that the fairy tale novel is very interesting. I hope the author will write more.
