Tales of Terror from Insect Ridge

I joined a tour group to visit a mountain village in Yunnan and experience the local customs. Then a flash flood struck, sweeping our bus deep into the mountains and dense forest. I thought surviving the disaster was a stroke of luck, but I never imagined that this mountain wilderness, shrouded in a faint purple mist, would be full of danger: giant white pythons, multicolored poisonous toads, enormous soft-bodied bats, and carnivorous flowers that sang... Yet none of these were the most terrifying thing. The worst came when the laws and moral restraints binding us survivors fell away, revealing the evil within us! Violence, desire, and fear brought out the worst in human nature. To protect myself, I eventually picked up a weapon to fight these terrifying creatures, as well as the companions who had bad intentions toward me...
