Three Royal Consorts, One Big Show

On the day she ascended the throne as the Crown Princess of Great Zhou, Yin Li welcomed three consorts into the Eastern Palace. By nightfall, the question of whose bridal chamber to visit had become a problem. She timidly entered the eldest consort’s room, but before she could speak, he stabbed her straight through the heart... What a miserable life! Ten days later, she drunkenly stumbled into the second consort’s room, but the moment she stepped inside, he kicked her right back out the door... She landed flat on her face and lost every shred of dignity! How tragic! Finally, furious, she went to the third consort’s room. There she saw the legendary most beautiful man in the world and felt her heart flutter... only for a freezing sword to be pressed to her neck... How pitiful! The tormented Crown Princess leaped around, beat her chest, and wept into the wind. “Did I bring three consorts into the palace to serve me? This is clearly three lords I’ve invited to torment me every single day!”
