This book is very helpful for junior high school graduates like me. I've always wanted to write a story but didn't know how to get the characters to talk. This book taught me that dialogue is not just said casually, it must have a purpose, it must be able to promote the development of the story, and it must be in line with the character's personality. I liked the examples and exercises in the book that allowed me to try my hand at writing some dialogue. I feel like I can write good stories like those writers.
