The Stranger

After work, Li Jing hails a taxi home, but the driver says he has never heard of a place called Fushou Village. Li Jing takes out his phone to search the map and discovers that he can't find his home at all, even though he has lived there for more than twenty years.

The world is still familiar, but everything he knows has disappeared. Li Jing becomes an undocumented person here and is taken to the police station. The police are surprised to discover that he looks a lot like a child who went missing twenty years ago. Li Jing is baffled. His parents are alive, and he has never been missing. Yet everything around him feels utterly real, and he begins to doubt himself. Could the twenty years of his life before this have been nothing but an illusion? Could what he sees before him now be the truth...?
