This book tells the life of Wu Zetian in humorous language, allowing me to see a flesh-and-blood Wu Zetian. Her intelligence and political talent are amazing, and even her failure in the Game of Thrones cannot obscure her shine. The description of Zhongnan Mountain Palace in the book is fascinating, "Zhongnan Mountain is near Chang'an, about a thousand feet higher than Chang'an. It is a plain on its own, secluded and quiet, and a world apart." It made me feel like I was there. All in all, this is a good book worth reading.
