This book reminded me of the romantic days when my wife and I were first married. Bai Luomei's writing is beautiful, like a clear spring, immersing people in the classical charm. The Book of Songs mentioned in the book reminded me of the time when we recited its verses together. Those beautiful emotions and simple life are exactly what we are pursuing. This book makes me cherish the people around me more and also gives me more insights into life. However, I don't like some of the overly idealistic descriptions in the book, which feel a bit unrealistic. But overall, this is a good book worth reading.
