This book tells the story of many people who were born in prosperity, fame and wealth, but still couldn't feel fulfilled in their hearts. Finally, they let the good teachers of Buddhism fill their hearts and find their true self.
The stories in this book were thought-provoking and made me think about the meaning of life. The lawyer experience in the book made me understand that words can also hurt people. We should be careful in our words and deeds and accumulate more merit. The author uses Buddhism to respond to life problems, which is very inspiring. Recommended to everyone!
Do you feel that our lives are rotting or burning?
Very attractive! There are successful people from all walks of life, including legal tycoons, technological inventors, physics talents, architectural design talents, high-caliber associate professors, moderately successful singers, little princesses with a prosperous family, sailors with both fame and fortune, etc. Many of them are successful people, which completely broke my stereotype that monks become monks because they have no other way out. Although they are so outstanding, they have been depressed, confused, empty, and struggling deep down in their hearts. They want to pursue the meaning of life and the truth of the universe, so they have searched hard all the way. Many people have taken a long detour, from Western philosophy, psychology, physics, to the thoughts of Lao and Zhuang, and then to the Taoist thought of long-term vision and pure inaction. Finally, I discovered that the most profound wisdom, the most thorough answer, and the most ultimate truth are found in Buddhism. The wisdom of Buddhism is so profound and boundless that just one cupful of it is enough to last a lifetime. In the end, without exception, they all firmly recognized that Buddhism is the only one worth pursuing with all their time and energy, and the only choice worthy of this life. Therefore, in the end, they all gave up all the wealth, status, reputation, and relatives in the world without hesitation, and devoted themselves wholeheartedly to the self-benefit and altruism of practicing Buddhism and promoting Buddhism.
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Thank you Master. I feel much better after reading this.
Everyone has Buddha nature, but sometimes it is not easy to return to our original nature. It's okay to envy those people, but it still takes a lot of courage to have a heart and truly return.
Very good, I like Amitabha
The protagonists in the book all have a connection with Buddhism and found a guiding light when they were helpless. It is rare in life that Buddhism smells bad. My renunciation is also very strong. When can I take refuge in my Buddha?
Thank you for your concern for all sentient beings.
Theoretically speaking, this should be the second book about Buddhism that I have read, so my comparison is only with the first one. To be honest, some of the stories about monks and nuns were indeed touching at the beginning, but as I read, they became more and more boring and the content was very different... So, just average.
I am so grateful to have come across this book! ! !
Just like walking with wise men, I am grateful for sharing and writing. Highly recommended.
