A young man named Bai Lu finds a picture sent by his old friend Liu Hong. It shows a silk manuscript containing clues to a mysterious tomb. Curiosity and amazement driving him on, Bai Lu sets out to find his missing friend. In Kunyang Village, he is hunted by a group of people and meets Wu Tian and Liu Luo. The three of them go to the mountain villa of their only informant, only to find that not a single person is there. It is as if everyone vanished overnight.
