Miss Mu, Please Respond

She used to be the little fan who followed him everywhere, clingy as a piece of candy he couldn't shake off.

When they met again, he tried every way he could to keep her by his side, only to discover she was no longer the girl she had been.

He gazed at her, frowning slightly. “Mu Suyue, when did you become so timid and submissive?”

When she showed no reaction, he snapped, “You were the one who chased after me first. Until you say stop, you’re not allowed to stop.”

She looked at him without a word, tears silently welling in her eyes. He lowered his gaze. After a moment of silence, he spoke calmly and softly, with a hint of dejection. “...If you’re tired, if you can’t keep chasing me, then let me be the one to hold you.”
