Throughout history, humans have dealt with ferocious beasts in three ways: force, domestication, and sacrifice. But those who choose the third method can hardly be called human.
The elf kingdom faced a grave threat from magical beasts even before it was founded. By some means, the elven ancestors acquired the power of mighty magical beasts and developed a system known as Spirit Arts to fight them. Elves who mastered these abilities were called Spirit Art practitioners.
Sadly, as the Spirit Art practitioners declined, the elf kingdom was forced to resort to sacrifice once more, clinging to life under the threat of magical beasts, until the appearance of the impure elf known as the “Light of the Elves,” Aiville.
While Aiville was making a name for herself across the elven continent, our protagonist Ye Su was still worrying about how to resolve the food crisis and noble unrest in his territory...
Knives, hahahahahaha, it's all knives. The author did a good job.
