Mr. Fu Has a Moonlight in His Heart

Have you ever fallen twice in the same place in this life?

Mei Jun Yu has.

Fu Tong came into Mei Jun Yu’s life and warmed all those lonely days.

But when Mei Jun Yu was eighteen, a wedding invitation arrived, its red so glaring it hurt the eyes. It read: Groom, Fu Tong. Bride, Qin Ran.

So Mei Jun Yu left, going far away with nowhere to turn.

When Mei Jun Yu returned to their hometown at twenty-one, Fu Tong said, “I love you.”

Mei Jun Yu believed him.

And in the end, it hurt.

Mei Jun Yu felt as though the past few years had been one long dream. At last, pain woke them.

Lying beside them was the half-brother they had just donated bone marrow to.

It turned out that the beloved Mr. Fu had always kept another woman in his heart, his one and only.

And Mei Jun Yu was nothing more than a toy he picked up to amuse himself.

A falsehood is still a falsehood. No matter how convincingly it is acted out, it will only trample on their feelings.

A lie is still a lie. No matter how sweetly it is told, it will only disgrace their love.

I shaped myself into your likeness, only to discover that all I had learned was your outward appearance.

It’s not that I’m naive. I just hope I can always keep believing in this world.
