She was an ugly woman with a disfigured face, raised in one home after another. He was a noble young heir, but after an accident, he was left half-dead and paralyzed, imprisoned by his vicious stepmother.
She married him to survive, and to save him.
“I’m ugly, and you’re paralyzed. Let’s not judge each other. We’ll just make do.”
Their daily life as an ugly woman and a paralyzed man involved her pretending to be a streetwise tough girl and playing undercover, while he acted like a fool and secretly masterminded everything.
“Honey, you’re an angel with broken wings. I’ll make sure you can fly again.”
“Darling, no matter how ugly you are, I’ll make you smile so brightly that the whole city will be dazzled.”
It's really good to read (the above one was less than 30 minutes long and made me panic. I'm not telling you I'm not trusting you. I originally read the audio version, but I didn't think the ending was very ideal. So I read the ending of this version with the intention of giving it a try, and found that it was different. The one I originally read was incomplete, so I read this one.) 😬😬😬
I like this book very much. Perfect ending
I really like the character settings and the development of some stories.
