"Freud and Psychoanalysis" collects Jung's published works on Freud and psychoanalysis from 1906 to 1916, plus some later additions. Jung conducted a very in-depth and thorough analysis of Freud's thoughts from his own ideological standpoint, which had an important influence on the understanding of Freud. The technical essays in the collection "Freud and Psychoanalysis", although lacking a complete account of Freud and psychoanalysis, nevertheless give the basic gist of Jung's changing views on the subject.

This book is very inspiring! Jung deeply analyzed Freud's thoughts from his own perspective, which gave me a deeper understanding of psychoanalysis. I especially like the analysis of dreams in the book. For example, "ship" is a substitute for "teacher". This is an interesting idea. Moreover, some of the cases in the book are also very vivid, such as the story of Mary and Lina, which allowed me to see the practical application of psychoanalysis. All in all, this is a great book worth reading!
