Class 2, Grade 11, at a Certain City High School

“...I had a dream. In it, we were all still together. He sat at the very end, the wind blowing his bangs across his eyes, but he looked so calm. I don’t know who started playing the guitar, but I feel like I’ll remember the sound of those strummed chords for the rest of my life.”

“When I woke up, I realized it had all been a dream, so I cried.”

“Once I was done crying, life still had to go on.”
