Fierce Flames on the Western Beacon

A mostly not-so-funny alternate-history story built around the Warring States period. Its protagonist is a Mohist disciple torn by inner conflict, while the male lead's counterpart is a poor scholar who never second-guesses himself. Together, they weave a tale of passion amid chaos, full of mysterious historical research. It may not be the easiest read, but its serious setting doesn't stop it from having a comic protagonist and a somewhat fiery story. After all, stories are meant to be read.

But whether you like this story or not, it must eventually end. Its fate was sealed from the very beginning.

Yet the green hills remain, as the sun sets again and again.
