My world is like a picture scroll. The human heart is used as silk paper, chivalry is used as bone pen, romance and tenderness are the background, gold and iron horses are drawn into lines, ghosts and intrigues are like halo, and pleasure and hatred are like splashing ink. The picture begins with passion and is annihilated by cruelty. I don't want to say that cruelty is beauty, but beauty without cruelty will always fade early.

This book is well written and a very flavorful work. It feels a bit like Wen Ruian's, but it's not the same if you look closely. I hope the author can continue writing, but it is already 2023. I wonder if there will be a follow-up series to Wulin Picture Scroll?
