A perceptive empress, a gentle, jade-like emperor, and an overbearing, domineering regent set off on an utterly baffling stretch of “sweet” times.

The emperor exclaims, “What? You actually made her do it herself? Did she hurt her hands? Are you trying to get yourself killed?”
The guard: “…”
The regent chuckles. “Heh. It’s time I took the empress away. Clearly, I’m the only one who truly dotes on her.”
The furious emperor roars, “You can have the empire, just give me back my empress!”
Uh… Is this the emperor’s daily routine of pursuing his wife?
