"White Nights" edited by Russian Dostoyevsky tells the story of four nights of heart-to-heart exchanges between a man who lives by fantasy and a girl Nastenka, whose parents died when she was young, who lives with her grandmother and has a lifelong private contract with her tenant. The pursuit of love closely linked them together, turning them from strangers into confidants and even lovers, but it was the commitment and care for love that made them return to their respective places. The former is still living in fantasy, while the latter is getting married to the one he loves; however, the momentary collision of hearts becomes eternity. "White Night" is a classic short story.

People have always been deceived by ethics and morality in a beautiful coat, like extremely brainwashed victims of pyramid schemes. They will not listen to other voices or accept other opinions. They think that having money and power is the mission of life. They think that people who do not live for power and money are crazy or stupid! They will use all means to eliminate dissidents, and they will unite to advocate that material things determine the dignity of personality. (Dostoyevsky is lonely because he saw the truth and believed in the truth. People who insist on the truth are always lonely. - But in comparison, I would rather choose loneliness!)
This book is very good! Every character in the story is portrayed very realistically, such as the thief. Although he committed a crime, he still admitted his mistake before he died, which shows that his conscience was not completely gone. I also like the character Agrafina very much. She usually doesn't talk much, but when she begged the protagonist for the tenant, I saw her kindness. As the book says: "He is a good man who has experienced a lot." Everyone has their own story, which makes me cherish the people around me more.
I walk in the white night, dreaming absurd dreams, and no longer believe in the fierce love others have for me.
It is full of revelations about human nature, allowing people to learn how to look at themselves!
