Xia Er Enqidu, a former member of the Valkyries from the Fortress City of Valhalla,
only wanted to spend an ordinary student life at the Academy City of Cambridge. But on the very first day of school, Student Council President Merlin saw through his true identity.
Under Merlin's threats and tempting offers, Xia Er was forced to join the newly formed 35th City Guard Squad to keep his identity hidden.
But the 35th Squad is an extraordinary bunch of nobodies: their warmhearted captain Artoria often charges ahead alone; the quiet, mysterious girl Merry keeps to herself; and the frivolous, listless man Gaheris...
Merlin demands that Xia Er help Cambridge win the city rankings organized by the Free City-State Alliance with this team.
Will Xia Er ever get to live an ordinary life as he wishes?
