Zhuge Liang, the Commoner's Chancellor

In fact, from another point of view, Liu Chan's surrender may not have been to avoid the recurrence of war. In the decades from the Yellow Turban Uprising to the three-point return to the Jin Dynasty, plague was rampant, and people's livelihood may not be difficult. Too many people only look at heroes in terms of victory or defeat, and how many people who stand in high places look at the lives of those in low places and consider their hardships?

In this book, Zhuge Liang does not set fire to Bowang Slope, does not borrow the east wind, does not have the three-qi Zhou Yu and other ingenious tricks. Zhuge Liang has stepped down from the position of "god" and has lost his magical side. He is an ordinary and extraordinary person. This book presents a real and tragic Zhuge Liang. His persistence in the five Northern Expeditions allows people to better understand his greatness. It is worth reading!

The writing style of this book is very unique, the writing is concise and smooth, making it very comfortable to read. I especially like the description of Zhuge Liang in the book. His wisdom and loyalty are admirable. The author narrated his life in a eloquent way, which made me seem to see a real Zhuge Liang. Moreover, some of the historical details in the book are also very interesting, which gave me a deeper understanding of that era. Overall, this is a great book worth reading!
